CHESHIRE LIVE STEAMERS

TITLE

The name of the Club shall be Cheshire Live Steamers.

OBJECTS
The objects of the Club are to promote, develop & organise interest in the hobby of model engineering including the provision of portable & permanent operating facilities together with backup testing & safety procedures.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership shall be open to all persons of sixteen or more. All applications for membership shall be in writing giving the full name, address and date of birth of applicant for membership. Election to Membership shall be by the Committee.

MANAGEMENT
The management of the Club shall be undertaken by an elected Committee which shall consist of an elected Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and not less than four additional members. All members of the Committee must have been members of the Club for at least two years, but every member of the Club who has been a member for two years will be eligible for election to the Committee.
All members of the committee, after election, shall serve for a period of one year, at the end of which they shall cease to be a member of committee but shall be elegible for re-election to the Committee.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
The subscription rates for members shall be such as is fixed by the Club at it's Annual General Meeting from time to time.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Club shall hold an Annual General Meeting in the month of November in each year. All members shall be entitled to receive notice of that meeting together with any Extra-ordinary General Meeting either by notification by post or telephone or by the display of a notice at the Club's premises. At least 14 days notice of an Annual General Meeting shall be given.

The matters to be dealt with at the AGM shall include but not be restricted to: -

a. receiving statements of accounts and reports to officers.
b. the election of officers and committee for the following year.
c. the fixing of subscriptions for the following year.
d. the appointment of Auditors.
e. any other business.
